Our team is dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth, learning, and fun. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Customer Service Associate I, your primary responsibilities will include: * Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure a positive and satisfying shopping experience * Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency * Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of integrity and accountability * Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and receiving merchandise in accordance with productivity standards * Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders * Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable * Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or management team **Essential Qualifications:** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred) * Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents * Physical ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting * Excellent customer service and relationship management skills * Strong organizational and communication skills * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills **Preferred Qualifications:** While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: * Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment * Knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling and inventory management * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Perks and Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to supporting your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
