Registering sales on designated sales registers and providing clients with efficient checkout services
Engaging clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience
Modeling and offering customer support best practices with all colleagues to deliver an unmistakable and brilliant client experience
Recommending items for sale to clients and suggesting upsell as well as companion items
Maintaining counters and retiring areas clean and well-merchandised, taking inventory, and keeping records
Carrying out organization resource protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss
Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items
Developing and maintaining displays, including special, seasonal, super designs, and sale stock
Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as determined by policies/procedures
Providing client assistance in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, banner print, and creative machine
Taking on web pick obligations, including screening orders, picking items, and delivering orders to clients
Maintaining a clean, neat, and deliberate store condition and appearance
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico)
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
Basic math skills, including the ability to count money and operate a cash register
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following preferred qualifications and skills will be considered an asset:
At least six months of experience in a retail environment
Previous work experience with Walgreens
Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages
Experience with store systems and equipment
Knowledge of photography and photo printing services
