**Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Assistant at careerzynith, you'll have the opportunity to interact with a variety of customers, handle inquiries and complaints, and assist with various tasks to ensure smooth store operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Greeting and welcoming customers as they enter the store, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere
* Serving as the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
* Assisting customers with locating products and providing information on promotions and deals
* Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and professional manner
* Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and organizing displays
* Assisting with bagging and carrying out groceries for customers as needed
* Collaborating with the store team to ensure efficient and smooth store operations
* Acting as a liaison between customers and store management to resolve any customer issues
* Remaining knowledgeable about store policies, products, and services to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
* Upholding careerzynith's commitment to exceptional customer service and helping create a positive shopping experience for every customer
* Continuously striving to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by actively listening to and addressing customer feedback
* Assisting with cashier duties, including operating cash registers and handling cash and credit card transactions
* Helping maintain a safe and clean store environment by following all safety and sanitation guidelines
* Performing other duties as assigned by store management

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
* Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move freely throughout the store
* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

* Previous customer service experience in a retail environment
* Knowledge of store policies, products, and services
* Ability to speak multiple languages
* Experience with cash handling and operating point-of-sale systems
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with careerzynith's technology systems
