**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service and Sales Representative at careerzynith, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance to sell an entire project. **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to sell an entire project
* Learn about products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards
* Work in cooperation with Department Supervisors and other associates in their department as well as other departments
* Participate in sales and customer service initiatives to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
* Develop and maintain knowledge of products and services to provide expert advice to customers
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and sales experiences
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2+ years of customer service or sales experience
* Experience working in a retail or sales environment
* Knowledge of building materials, décor, electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen and bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental products and services
* Experience with sales and customer service software and systems
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
