**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service and Sales Professional at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
* Providing fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance
* Learning about products using our tools and providing information to customers to sell an entire project
* Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department
* Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
* Participating in sales initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth and meet sales targets
* Maintaining a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by careerzynith, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer experiences
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
* Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new products and services
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer experiences
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
**Preferred Qualifications:**
