Job Overview As a Customer Service and Remote Virtual Assistant for the US healthcare industry, you will play a vital role in preparing and assembling medical record documentation, ensuring compliance with hospital and medical facility policies, and providing exceptional support to our healthcare providers. This is a full-time, remote position that offers a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, with a dedicated team that shares your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation, adhering to HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations. Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's record, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times. Prepare and send all documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures. Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with healthcare providers. Comply with hospital and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission, to maintain the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality. Perform other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMRs) systems. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision, and maintain productivity and focus in a home-based environment. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. English language proficiency (required). Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in medical records documentation, patient care, or a related field. Technical Requirements To perform this role, you will need to have the following equipment and technical capabilities: Laptop/Desktop with at least i5 processor and 8gb of ram. Internet Speed of 35mbps and above. Noise Cancelling Headset/Webcam. Dedicated place at home for work, with a quiet and distraction-free environment.
