Key Responsibilities Provide cordial support to both internal and external clients, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner. Operate a computerized retail point-of-sale system, manage boarding, baggage service, reservations, and resolve related complaints and issues. Manage cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment, process charges, make change, and balance daily transactions. Check in items and freight, answer phone calls to provide information, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed. Handle transactions necessary to load the aircraft in a timely and efficient manner. Manage upset clients due to oversales, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, resolving issues quickly and within company guidelines. Provide current and accurate fare, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general inquiries from clients and other airport visitors. Complete forms and reports as required by the organization. Write anomaly and protest reports as necessary. Perform other work-related duties as directed by management. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in any field. The ability to type or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the demands of the job. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful conditions. The capacity to learn and understand tagging procedures, rules, and regulations. Awareness of hazardous situations and the ability to handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Good written and oral communication skills. The ability to convey information and instructions verbally or via radio equipment effectively. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience, although not required, is highly desirable. Knowledge of a second language is an asset but not necessary. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
