As a Customer Experience Banker, you will be the face of our organization, serving as a Financial Concierge to our walk-in customers and playing a pivotal role in helping them achieve their financial goals. Job Overview In this part-time role (30-35 hours per week), you will be responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services, and providing exemplary customer service. Your ability to understand and educate customers on consumer deposit products, identify opportunities to grow customer relationships, and demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, and relationship management will be essential to your success in this position. Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues in a professional and courteous manner Be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and services Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners Educate and refer customers to other areas of blithequark to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the team and achieve business objectives Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications: Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree can be considered in lieu of experience Preferred Qualifications: 1 year or more of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales Cash handling skills and experience with financial transactions Comfort with technology, including mobile services and online banking services Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Strong sales and customer service skills to identify opportunities and provide solutions to customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Basic math skills and attention to detail to accurately process financial transactions Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems to stay up-to-date with industry developments Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our colleagues.
