Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues in a professional and courteous manner
Being proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and services, and making recommendations to meet their financial needs
Proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
Educating and referring customers to other areas of arenaflex to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership
Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balancing daily transactions while providing exemplary customer service
Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation to drive business results and customer satisfaction
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role
Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree can be considered in lieu of experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve customer issues and identify opportunities to grow customer relationships
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
1 year or more of experience in customer service in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales
Cash handling skills and experience with financial transactions
Comfort with technology, such as mobile services and online banking services, to provide support to customers and drive business results
