**Job Summary**
As a Customer Experience Associate - Customer Service Expert, you will be the face of careerzynith, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and management to create a welcoming environment, build trust relationships, and deliver personalized shopping experiences. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving sales growth, and promoting careerzynith's corporate programs.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Greet every customer with a smile and eye contact, acknowledging their presence and needs
* Complete transactions accurately and efficiently, engaging customers in conversation and providing product knowledge
* Help customers with returns, exchanges, and refunds, following proper procedures and apologizing for any inconvenience
* Provide product knowledge and sales skills to serve customers in one or more sales areas, adhering to merchandise presentation standards
* Assist customers with completing price changes, special orders, online orders, and rain checks
* Promote the benefits of the Military Star credit card, Exchange protection plan, and other corporate programs to drive sales growth and increase customer brand loyalty
* Operate a cash register or other sales-related equipment to enter new accounts, conduct sales, refunds, or similar transactions
* Verify and accept multiple tenders for payment and make change with accuracy and zero variance tolerance
* Ensure compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and security regulations, as well as ensuring the security of fixed assets, cash, and inventory
* Practice loss prevention procedures and alert security and management of potential problems that may involve fraud, waste, and abuse
**Essential Qualifications**
* Completion of high school or the equivalent
* Retail experience, demonstrated willingness, and potential for additional responsibility
* Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
* Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
* Ability to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions
* Excellent communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* Cash handling experience preferred
