**Job Summary**

As a Customer Development Manager at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for driving alignment and simplification across our retail customers, suppliers, and internal account teams. You'll leverage your analytical skills to create actionable insights and recommendations, ensuring that our vendor programs are executed effectively in the field. Your primary objective will be to drive growth and improve category performance through data-driven decision-making.

**Responsibilities**

* Create and deliver insights and recommendations using various data sources, including Point of Sale (POS) data, syndicated data from sources like Nielsen and IRI, and account-specific databases.
* Monitor the field execution of vendor programs and ensure that our supplier programs are executed effectively in the field.
* Stay informed of analytic best practices across the industry and apply this knowledge to drive business results.
* Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions, and develop recommendations to drive improvements.
* Track category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share, and develop strategies to drive growth.
* Develop, communicate, execute, and monitor performance metrics and goals, ensuring that our suppliers are engaged in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Create and deliver effective reports using POS data and syndicated data, and present findings to internal stakeholders.
* Analyze supply chain data to evaluate and recommend supplier performance, and develop strategies to improve inventory logistics objectives.
* Understand and apply customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data, and develop recommendations to drive category growth.
* Ensure superior client satisfaction through deep analytics and team problem-solving, and develop strategies to drive customer loyalty.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management.
* Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, with a strong preference for the Adult Beverage industry.
* Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations, and expertise in category management principles and shopper/consumer insights.
* High-level understanding of Category Management processes and practices, and assertive leadership and decision-making skills with high energy.
* Preferred experience with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) and Internal Shipment Data, and a strong foundation in business fundamentals and business finance.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills, and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

**Nice-to-Haves**

* Experience in the Adult Beverage industry, and familiarity with market research methodologies.
* Ability to collaborate with external retail customers and key suppliers, and a strong understanding of customer, consumer, and industry insights.
