About the Role We're seeking an experienced Customer Care Representative to join our team as a Crew Scheduling Specialist. This full-time remote position reports to the Supervisor of Crew Services and plays a critical role in optimizing flight crew resources. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of FAR Section 121 and FAR Section 117 crew scheduling requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to embody our company culture while working with flight crews in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Ensure efficient utilization of pilots and maintain daily tracking of their attendance. Provide exceptional customer care and support to all crewmembers by managing booking-related tasks, including disseminating the right procedural and regulatory information. Notify crewmembers of changes to their daily/monthly schedule and communicate schedule changes in a timely manner. Guarantee compliance with FAA-mandated Section 91, Section 121, and Section 117 regulations, as well as company policies. Continuously monitor and verify the integrity of the flight schedule by ensuring all segments have been assigned to a legal crew. Resolve flight crew legitimacy issues and layover requirements based on relevant regulatory and contractual requirements. Maintain primary correspondence with crewmembers, flight control, and station staff related to crew schedules. Process trip trades, trip drops, sick calls, emergency leaves, and other daily schedule changes. Secure all necessary accommodations, including lodging and deadhead flight bookings. Ensure the use of reserve crewmembers in the most efficient and timely manner necessary to guarantee operational reliability. Work closely with dispatchers to resolve issues and guide the efficient day-to-day operation of the aircraft. Report on daily scheduling and department status. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree or higher (Associate degree or higher preferred). A self-motivated and positive attitude, with the ability to proactively identify and prevent potential operational disruptions. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on quality, tone, detail, and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and general web applications. The ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on an as-needed basis. Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to outstanding professionalism. The capacity to work under tight deadlines and in high-stress situations effectively. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to work independently and as a vital part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience in a customer support or airline role, or one year of Crew Scheduling experience. A proven track record of providing excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced environment.
