Key Responsibilities
Service inbound calls while engaging and conversing with entrepreneurs and decision-makers to understand their needs and suggest the right American Express products
Convey high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate suitable product features, benefits, and other aspects of American Express Services
Continuously develop key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing deals
Provide exceptional customer care by responding to inquiries about accounts in a fast-paced, organized customer care environment
Document essential account information in accordance with established policies and procedures
Comply with all regulatory and compliance rules related to servicing and sales practices
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a client-facing environment where you have built customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, and strong written and verbal communication
Proven success in a customer care and sales environment (2 years+)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to multitask and navigate in an electronic setting
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; education benefits are available

Previous experience in a remote or virtual customer service environment
