**Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Identifying, researching, processing, resolving, and responding to customer inquiries and correspondence via telephone, written communication, and/or in-person.
* Answering a diverse and high volume of health insurance-related customer calls and correspondence on a daily basis.
* Meeting quality, quantity, and timeliness standards to achieve individual and department performance goals as defined within the department guidelines.
* Consulting and coordinating with various internal departments, external plans, providers, businesses, and government agencies to obtain information and ensure resolution of customer inquiries.
* Documenting and recording facts related to inquiries and correspondence by updating arenaflex files and systems.
* Demonstrating and maintaining current working knowledge of the required arenaflex systems, procedures, forms, and manuals.
**Key Skills and Qualifications:**
* At least one (1) year of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field.
* High School diploma or GED.
* Intermediate PC proficiency.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
