**Job Summary**
As a 3rd Shift Custodian at careerzynith, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools. You'll work closely with our facilities team to ensure that our buildings are safe, clean, and well-maintained. **Key Responsibilities**
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our schools, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas
* Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
* Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
* Restock supplies and materials as needed
* Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure that our buildings are safe and well-maintained
* Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years of experience in custodial work or a related field
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
* Valid driver's license (if applicable)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a school or educational setting
* Certification in custodial work or a related field
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
**Skills and Competencies**
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
* Valid driver's license (if applicable)
