Job Overview: Course Associate, Political Analytics We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Course Associate in Political Analytics. This part-time position is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the instructional process for graduate-level courses, supporting the development of the next generation of leaders in politics and advocacy. As a Course Associate, you will work closely with our instructional faculty to implement all aspects of in-person and online learning, providing subject matter expertise and supporting the instructional process for a course section. Key Responsibilities Attend all class sessions, assist with instruction, lead breakout sessions, and facilitate discussions to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for students. Evaluate and grade student work and assessments as requested by the course Lecturer, providing constructive feedback to support student growth and development. Monitor and address student concerns and inquiries, maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Maintain online resources for the instructional faculty to support teaching and learning, such as Zoom and Canvas, as determined by the instructional faculty. Conduct weekly office hours to provide additional support and guidance to students. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess a graduate degree in an area related to political science, data science, quantitative methods, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 3+ years of professional experience in a role involving political analytics, demonstrating a strong understanding of data-driven politics and advocacy. Preferred Skills and Experience University teaching experience, with a proven track record of supporting student learning and development. Expertise in data analytics, quantitative methods, and political science, with the ability to apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
