As a key member of our Corporate Travel Division, you will play a vital role in supporting our Cleveland, Ohio office, working with clients across multiple time zones. Your primary responsibility will be to handle all aspects of corporate travel arrangements, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support. Key Responsibilities Handle domestic and international travel arrangements for clients, including air, hotel, ground transportation, and rail bookings Utilize your strong working knowledge of international pricing rules and procedures to ensure compliance with client travel policies Support the documentation of international travel documents, such as visas and passports, and advise clients on travel requirements, including immunizations and health certifications Stay informed about current international events, using sources such as State Department websites and news agencies, to provide expert guidance to clients Interact with travelers and travel arrangers, providing exceptional customer service and technical support, including online booking tools, Concur, and Deem Ensure compliance with client travel policies and maximize profit by utilizing preferred vendors Adhere to Direct Travel's standards for customer service, including telephone and email etiquette, and follow prescribed escalation procedures Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees, fostering a cooperative and collaborative work environment Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to contribute to the team's success Essential Qualifications 10 years of corporate domestic and international travel experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and its complexities Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to meet and exceed performance standards Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Outlook and basic Microsoft platforms Thorough knowledge of airline ticketing rules and regulations, with high proficiency in using Airline GDS, Apollo/Smartpoint preferred Ability to create domestic and international multi-segment, multi-destination itineraries, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills via email and phone, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work flexible hours between 8am-7pm Eastern Time, with unrestricted work authorization for the US Preferred Qualifications Experience working with online booking tools, such as Concur and Deem Knowledge of international airfares and ticketing, with proficiency in exchanging and reissuing tickets Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Experience working in a fast-paced call center environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service Career Growth and Development At Direct Travel, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
