About the Job The Content Protection Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting internal strategic efforts to bring down content piracy, with a focus on social media, and will assist with broader Content Protection fill-in on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities Proactively protect content on social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok Demonstrate expertise with social media fingerprinting, query lines, and takedown lines Liaise with social media partners and manage project timelines Ensure cross-functional best practices for Content Protection on social media platforms Think analytically, with experience driving insights using data available in social media platform tools Support title protection workflows and operational drives Support broader policy and social media strategy work Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of content protection best practices and industry trends, with a focus on social media platforms. You should also have experience with social media management tools like Rights Manager and Content ID, as well as experience with data and social media platform analysis. Knowledge of intellectual property laws and regulations is also essential, and a legal background, skills, or qualification would be a plus. Preferred Qualifications Paralegal skills are not compulsory but would be positively valued Ideally, the candidate should have experience in anti-piracy drives and be familiar with handling a dynamic notice and takedown program, including experience working with YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, and other notable social media platforms Experience with dashboarding tools, such as Tableau or Google Data Studio, is an advantage Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to be mentally curious, show great drive, and be an effective cross-functional communicator.
