**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Concierge Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a healthcare industry expert, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, navigating complex healthcare systems, and building strong relationships with our members and healthcare providers. **Responsibilities**

As a Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

* Responding to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards
* Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out-of-network providers
* Assisting members with benefits and healthcare questions
* Documenting all calls received in system-based call log
* Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

**Requirements and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
* At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role
* Medical intake or third-party administrator (TPA) experience is a plus
* Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus
* Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
* Proficiency with Microsoft applications and strong computer skills
* Excellent data entry and typing skills
* Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
* Knowledge and understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
* Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
* Strong analytical and research skills
* Ability to multi-task and anticipate potential needs/problems
* Medical terminology knowledge
* Strong attention to detail

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience with claim processing, insurance verification, or pre-certification
* Understanding of self-funded health benefits
* Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience

**Work Environment and Physical Demands**

This position is a remote opportunity, requiring a typical home office environment with prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need to have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including a computer and phone.

**Compensation and Benefits**
