Experienced Community Relations Assistant – Local Area Engagement and Social Responsibility

**About the Position**
careerzynith is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to provide administrative support to our Local Area Relations team. As a Community Relations Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our social responsibility goals and community engagement objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing administrative support to the Local Area Relations team, including coordinating game day communications and planned operations, managing gift process, and handling Fighters Locally publications and social media channels.
* Managing the division's receipt entries and handling, maintaining departmental schedules, and processing office requests and public demands.
* Ensuring the Fighters Community Relations website is updated regularly and as soon as possible.
* Providing exceptional customer service to internal clients and representing the organization to external crowds.
* Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Community Relations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assist the Local Area Relations team with daily tasks and responsibilities.
* Coordinate game day communications and planned operations, including correspondence with external groups and ticket distribution.
* Manage the gift process, including admission, inventory, and storage.
* Handle the Fighters Locally publication and association communications.
* Manage the Fighters Locally social media channels.
* Manage the division's receipt entries and handling.
* Maintain departmental schedules.
* Process office requests and channel public demands.
* Ensure the Fighters Community Relations website is updated regularly and as soon as possible.
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal clients and represent the organization to external crowds.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Community Relations.
**Required Qualifications and Skills**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
* At least 1 year of experience in community issues, cause marketing, and corporate social responsibility; 1 year of regulatory or project/occasion management experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; preference for individuals with experience in Agree, Coupa, and Salesforce.
* Advanced, web-based entertainment and traditional marketing skills.
* Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen; ability to build positive working relationships with representatives at all levels within the organization.
**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**
* Experience working in the entertainment industry or a related field.
* Knowledge of local area relations and community engagement strategies.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing tools.
* Experience with event planning and execution.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
**Time Responsibility**
* Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
