Experienced Commercial Planning Supervisor for blithequark's Disney+ Team - Remote Work Opportunity

Join the blithequark Team as a Commercial Planning Supervisor and Drive Business Growth Are you a seasoned business analyst with a passion for driving business outcomes in global B2C organizations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the blithequark team as a Commercial Planning Supervisor and be part of the Disney+ group, responsible for launching and operating Disney+ across Europe and Africa. About the Role The Commercial Planning Supervisor will play a critical role in the newly formed Business Execution and Planning team, providing a unified view on ongoing E&A trading performance of Disney+, driving insights and decision-making to optimize acquisitions and subscriber growth, and managing the Disney+ annual and quarterly planning process. This role will work closely with brand and performance marketing teams, country teams, E&A BD and strategy team, as well as Finance and Analysis teams across the region and DSS in NY. Key Responsibilities Support the development of key planning models, including the annual operating plan model and the monthly forecasting model, including executive-level summary views, streamlined metrics, and clearly identified inputs and assumptions Support the development of D+ annual strategy and quarterly planning and monthly/bi-monthly forecasting process Build business cases and scenarios to inform decision-making on pricing, go-to-market strategies, and optimization of monetization Support ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses on drivers of performance for the previous quarter Support in anticipation of EMEA and US business updates Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Experience working in data-driven environments and driving decision-making through data High numeracy and analytical capability and rigor, attention to detail Clear and concise communication skills Ability to tailor comms to different audiences (e.g., country teams, global teams, executives) Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple project timelines and deadlines that run simultaneously Positive, people-oriented, and lively disposition Ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience in the media and entertainment industry Knowledge of Disney+ and its business operations Experience working with cross-functional teams What We Offer At blithequark, we offer a range of benefits and perks that make working with us an exciting and rewarding experience.
