About the Role: Key Responsibilities As a Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee, you'll play a critical role in driving sales, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence in our store. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and developing high-performing teams through effective teaching, training, and feedback Modeling exceptional customer service standards and driving initiatives to improve the customer experience Driving financial performance and sales growth by analyzing P&L statements, managing expenses, and implementing business solutions Providing supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring Coordinating and completing job-related activities, including building relationships with key stakeholders and supporting business initiatives Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of ethics and integrity Requirements: Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing Skills and Competencies: What You'll Need to Succeed To excel as a Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee, you'll need: Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to analyze data and drive business decisions Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric approach Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop their careers.
