**Experienced Co-op, Airport Customer Service - Cargo Safety, Security, and Compliance (Spring 2026)**

As a member of our Cargo Operations team, you'll have the opportunity to work with various departments, including Field Operations, Field Support, Customer Experience, Performance, Global Transportation, Logistics, Digital Transformation & Technology, and Safety, Security, & Compliance. We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented co-op to join our Cargo Safety, Security, & Compliance team in Atlanta, GA. As a co-op, you'll be part of a dynamic and rewarding environment, supporting our efforts to ensure the safety, security, and compliance of our customers and employees worldwide. **Overview & Key Responsibilities** As a co-op in our Cargo Safety, Security, & Compliance team, you'll be responsible for supporting various initiatives and projects that impact cross-functional departments. Your primary function will be to support the development of enhancements and improvements in our safety, security, and compliance efforts. This will include: * Proposing ideas for continuous improvement in processing and tracking effectiveness * Implementing project management skills and practices * Recording results in a database and developing metrics to analyze performance * Measuring and analyzing current performance * Working across business units with various stakeholders in a professional setting * Providing process engineering and/or internal consulting services * Participating in data collection efforts for projects that impact cross-functional departments * Identifying and implementing improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance * Recommending ideas for new ways to provide optimal (internal and external) customer service and evaluating safety/compliance impact of proposed operational changes You'll also have the opportunity to work with various teams, including: * Cargo Safety: responsible for the Cargo Safety Management System (SMS), injury and damage investigations, occupational safety & health (OSHA) initiatives, ergonomics, employee reporting programs (ASAP), emergency response, safety recognition, and ground standards assurance. * Cargo Compliance (Regulatory): ensures regulatory acquiescence by developing policy and procedures for global cargo operations. * Cargo Compliance (Security): ensures that our cargo acceptance and screening operations are maintaining compliance with TSA regulations across our system, US, and non-US. * Cargo Policy & Procedure: engages with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Cargo policies and procedures are understandable and updated in compliance with the required industry regulations. * Pharmaceuticals: responsible for implementing a quality management system (QMS) within pharmaceuticals and other specialty cargo operations. **What You Need to Succeed** To be considered for this co-op position, you must: * Be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution throughout the co-op program. * Be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office on a full-time basis as an undergraduate student during the following 3 alternating semesters: Spring 2026, Fall 2026, and Summer 2027. * Meet one of the following or similar studies: Business Administration and Management, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation/Aeronautics/Aeronautical Science/Aviation Management/Aviation Operations, Management/Aviation Operations, Occupational Health & Safety, Aviation Safety, Information Systems. * Demonstrate self-motivation, a willingness to accept responsibility, and a desire to learn new tools and processes. * Possess strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. * Be able to work on multiple assignments with strict deadlines and function effectively under pressure. * Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving skills, and verbal/written communication skills. * Exercise confidentiality of protected information and maintain excellent attention to detail. * Be open-minded and willing to learn new skills. * Be team-oriented and highly supportive of continuous improvement methodologies. * Be able to work in a time-sensitive environment, be a self-starter, and highly motivated. * Some travel may be required. * Be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). * Possess general administrative skills, including but not limited to scheduling meetings or in-person training, coordinating speakers and attendees, coordinating meeting logistics, taking and publishing meeting notes, and conducting post-meeting follow-up. * Maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0-point scale. * Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data. * Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles. * Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. **What Will Give You a Competitive Edge** While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: * A successful candidate should be highly motivated with the desire to learn and have a passion for safety, security operations, and compliance initiatives. * Passion for aviation or a keen interest in learning and contributing to the aviation industry is advantageous. * The degree includes a specialization in aviation, supply chain, cargo, logistics, security. * Experience with Quality Control/Quality Management Systems (QMS). * Confident in PowerPoint and presentation creation;
