About the Role As a Cloud Support Engineer II - Big Data, you'll be at the forefront of cloud computing technology, acting as a 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products. You'll work with customers to resolve complex technical issues, provide feedback to internal teams, and drive projects that improve support-related processes. Key Responsibilities Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs. Leverage your extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal teams on how to improve services, driving tactical and strategic projects that enhance support-related processes and customer technical support experience. Create tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community, sharing your knowledge and expertise with a global audience. Collaborate with customers through various channels, including web, live chat, and telephone, to resolve issues and provide support. Participate in a follow-the-sun model, working hours and days based on customer demand, which may include weekends (on a rotational basis). Essential Qualifications Verbal and written fluency in French, with proficiency in English. Minimum three to five years' professional technical experience in Internet-related sectors, with a focus on problem-solving and debugging technical systems, including providing end-to-end troubleshooting support to customers. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical discipline. Preferred Qualifications Experience in cloud/distributed computing technology, including large-scale server fleet management and/or Hadoop environment management. Proven experience in system administration (Linux/Window) and network administration. Experience in programming and/or managing complete application stacks, from the operating system to customized applications.
