Job Overview As a Children's Development Gymnastics and Activity Coach at My Gym, you will play a vital role in teaching and mentoring children in our fitness and gymnastics programs. Your enthusiasm, energy, and exceptional interpersonal skills will help create a supportive and engaging environment, allowing our young participants to thrive and reach their full potential. In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will contribute to meeting monthly team goals in promotions and sales, ensuring the continued growth and success of our center. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging fitness and gymnastics classes for children, tailored to their age and skill level Develop and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, fostering a sense of community among participants and their families Collaborate with the team to achieve monthly goals in promotions and sales, contributing to the center's overall success Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner Participate in staff training and development programs, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices Maintain accurate records, including class attendance, participant progress, and sales data Essential Qualifications: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess: A background in fitness, athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, or a related field Experience working with children, demonstrating patience, understanding, and a genuine passion for their development Highly energetic and motivated, with excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, including weekends, and be flexible to meet the needs of the center Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines A clean background check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in sales, marketing, or promotions, with a proven track record of meeting targets and exceeding expectations Certifications in first aid, CPR, or child safety, demonstrating a commitment to the well-being and safety of our participants Knowledge of child development principles, including physical, emotional, and cognitive growth Experience with program development, including curriculum design and implementation Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you should possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues Strong leadership and motivational skills , inspiring confidence and enthusiasm in our young participants Effective time management and organizational skills , prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Adept sales and marketing skills , contributing to the center's growth and success A passion for fitness and child development , staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At My Gym, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
