**Job Summary**
As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of our online community. This part-time, remote position requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You'll work closely with our team to resolve conflicts, enforce community guidelines, and provide exceptional customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to our community guidelines
* Delete messages that violate our rules, including but not limited to:
+ Hate speech or discriminatory language
+ Spam or self-promotion
+ Harassment or bullying
+ Infringement on intellectual property rights
* Ban users who repeatedly violate our rules, after a thorough investigation and review of the evidence
* Mute users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruption to the community
* Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, and take necessary action to resolve the issue
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines, and provide feedback on their effectiveness
* Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Participate in regular team meetings to discuss community trends, challenges, and best practices
**Qualifications**
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Familiarity with Discord and online community management
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
