Key Responsibilities Moderating the Chat: Review and manage user-generated content on our official Discord server, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and rules. Enforcing Community Guidelines: Delete messages that violate server rules, ban users with multiple infractions, and mute users as necessary to maintain a positive environment. Investigating User Reports: Respond to user reports regarding rule violations, conducting thorough investigations and taking appropriate actions to resolve issues. Maintaining a Positive Community: Foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with users, providing support, and promoting blithequark's values and mission. Essential Qualifications Age and Education: Be at least 18 years old and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and respectfully. Technical Skills: Be proficient in using Discord and familiar with online community management tools and best practices. Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve user reports effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Moderation: Have previous experience moderating online communities, preferably on Discord or similar platforms. Knowledge of Community Guidelines: Be familiar with community guidelines and moderation best practices, with a strong understanding of what constitutes a positive online environment.
