Job Overview
In this full-time remote position, you will work as a call center representative, handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing support to pharmacists and other stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include answering inbound calls, resolving customer complaints, and utilizing pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information. If you have excellent communication skills, are proficient in data entry, and can work well in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize arenaflex's solution information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollments by entering data into the proper system.
Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
Investigate to obtain missing medication data and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
Resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
Resolve Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections.
Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations.
Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.


Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down a computer, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print reports, and access information online).
Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Must be at least 18 years old.


Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role:

At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency.
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
Fluency in Spanish and English.
