Job Summary

As an Experienced Call Center Representative – Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels. You will also be responsible for accurate and timely data entry into our pharmacy systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels
* Accurately and timely enter patient and medication data into our pharmacy systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other industry standards
* Handle patient medicine demands and enter top-off orders for handling
* Investigate missing solution data and decipher clinical truncations (SIG codes)
* Settle all data entry-related exceptions and resolve patient and healthcare professional inquiries
* Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and remotely
* Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary
* Obtain a dynamic pharmacist license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain a valid pharmacist license or certification

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Essential level computer skills, including:
+ Starting and closing a computer
+ Using a mouse to point and click
+ Starting and closing programs
+ Switching between programs
+ Saving files
+ Printing documents
+ Accessing data online
* Essential web browsing skills, including:
+ Opening a web browser
+ Writing URLs in the address bar
+ Using a search engine
+ Bookmarking a website
+ Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons
+ Completing online forms
* Middle-of-the-road keyboarding skills, including:
+ Typing at least 25 words per minute
+ Typing by memory
+ Organizing files
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
* 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment
* At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a declaration/enrollment by the state as conceded by the State Board for Pharmacies or broadly perceived certification office
* Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction
* Middle-of-the-road to advanced level keyboarding skills, including:
+ Typing at least 35 words per minute
+ Typing by memory
+ Organizing files
* Familiarity with Spanish and English
