Your Impact As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our company, providing excellent, prompt, courteous, and focused call center support to our policy holders. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service, and that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Answering in-bound calls for designated areas of responsibility, providing superior service via phone, email, faxes, and other correspondence to policy holders. Assisting existing and potential customers with policy interpretation, claims, and premium/billing-related issues. Reviewing insurance policy terms to determine whether a particular policy holder is covered by insurance. Comparing and reviewing policy information with customers, responding to inquiries and stated understandings to ensure that accurate information is provided. Providing solutions and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner. Documenting customer interactions and maintaining accurate records. Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or higher preferred. Experience 2 years of customer service experience in a high-volume call center environment. Life, Major Medical, or Medicare Supplement insurance experience highly desired. Skills and Competencies Detail-oriented and able to follow complex procedures accurately. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. However, the actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
