**Key Responsibilities**

As a Business Intelligence Engineer on our Defect Elimination Analytics team, you'll be responsible for:

* Designing, developing, and maintaining scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business decision-making.
* Partnering with operations, business teams, economists, and machine learning teams to consult, develop, and implement key performance indicators (KPIs), automated reporting and process solutions, and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs.
* Developing the end-to-end automation of pipelines for applications and machine learning models.
* Applying analytical skills to extract meaningful insights and learnings from large and complicated data sets.
* Serving as a liaison with business and technical teams to achieve project objectives, requiring data gathering, problem-solving, modeling, and communication of insights and recommendations.

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with experience in Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, and other data platforms.
* Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
* Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
* Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
* Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
* Experience writing complex SQL queries.
* Bachelor's Degree.

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

* Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
* Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.

**Compensation**

The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
