**Job Summary**
As a Business Intelligence Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in defining our business intelligence strategy, influencing architectural decisions, and providing business intelligence solutions that solve complex problems for our organization. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, build robust reporting structures, and communicate effectively with leadership audiences. **Key Responsibilities**
* Define the organization's business intelligence strategy and influence architectural decisions
* Provide business intelligence solutions that solve complex problems for the organization and inform multiple business decisions
* Build a robust, extensible, and scalable reporting structure

* Define and iterate on data strategies that cross multiple Customer Service teams
* Drive best practices in operational excellence, data modeling, and analysis

**A Day in the Life**
As a Business Intelligence Engineer within Customer Service – Social Media, you'll be helping us understand current and past customer behavior to influence the solutions we build to deliver the best future experience. You'll be constantly identifying ways in which we can improve our understanding of the business to make faster, more confident decisions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business success through data-driven insights.
**Qualifications**
* 5+ years of SQL experience
* Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
* Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
* Experience with AWS technologies
* Experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills
* Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining
* Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
* Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
**Essential Skills and Competencies**
* Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and principles
* Excellent SQL skills, including data modeling, querying, and optimization
* Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
