As a Business Data Scientist within the Business Strategy and Operations team, you'll be responsible for driving go-to-market capabilities, analytics, and data science initiatives that accelerate growth and support business priorities. Key Responsibilities Design and lead causal research studies to answer complex business questions and inform decision-making. Present and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to executives, business leaders, and cross-functional partners. Serve as a peer reviewer and subject matter expert for causal research designed by other teams. Stay up-to-date with advances in causal inference literature and develop new methodologies as needed. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Data, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience. Experience articulating business and product questions and extracting insights from datasets using SQL and statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB). Internship or experience with data evaluation and analysis. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: Experience with Bayesian hierarchical models, Bayesian Additive Regression Trees (BART), Bayesian Causal Forest (BCF), Gaussian Processes, and Synthetic Control techniques. Experience designing and analyzing randomized controlled trials. Experience designing and analyzing causal research studies using observational data. Experience with statistical data analysis, including linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling techniques.
