As an Experienced Billing Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for call escalations, manage communication with patients, insurance companies, and their representatives, and ensure timely and efficient resolution of billing inquiries and requests. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Responsibilities:** ### Communication Management * Serve as the first point of contact for call escalations, providing friendly and efficient service to patients, insurance companies, and their representatives via phone, email, and other internal communication platforms. * Relay messages from requesters to appropriate team members or departments utilizing multiple software applications, reviewing requester concerns for escalation. * Assist with coordinating incoming and outgoing billing requests, ensuring timely sorting, facilitating responses, and follow-ups. * Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA regulations, adhering to arenaflex's strict confidentiality and data protection policies. * Manage a minimum of 70 accounts per day, prioritizing tasks and resolving issues efficiently to meet deadlines. ### Team Collaboration and Support * Participate in regular team meetings via video or teleconference, contributing to discussions and sharing knowledge to enhance team performance. * Demonstrate competency in the performance of job-related skills, providing excellent customer service to diverse customer populations and departmental services. * Utilize and operate equipment and mechanical devices to maintain a functional, effective, and safe work environment. * Adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines relative to departmental operations, ensuring compliance with arenaflex's standards and regulations. ### Additional Responsibilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex billing issues and improve processes. * Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex's billing procedures, policies, and regulations. * Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting billing and customer service. **Work Environment and Culture:** At arenaflex, we're committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment that encourages growth, innovation, and collaboration.
