As an Experienced Billing Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as the first point of contact for patients, insurance companies, and their representatives, providing friendly and efficient service while ensuring timely resolution of billing requests. You'll work closely with our team to coordinate incoming and outgoing billing requests, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to HIPAA regulations. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Essential Functions:** ### Communication Management * Serve as the first point of contact for call escalations, from patients via phone, email, and other internal communication platforms, providing friendly and efficient service to patients, insurance companies, and their representatives. * Relay messages from requesters to appropriate team members or departments utilizing multiple software applications. Reviewing requester concerns for escalation. * Assist with coordinating incoming and outgoing billing requests, ensuring timely sorting, facilitating responses, and follow-ups. * Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA regulations. * Minimum 70 accounts worked per day ### Team Collaboration and Support * Participate in regular team meetings via video or teleconference. * Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
