About the Role We're looking for talented and compassionate interpreters to work with clients across various industries, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Travel & Hospitality, and government entities. As a Spanish English Interpreter, you'll play a vital role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages, enabling them to access essential services, share ideas, and build relationships. Key Responsibilities: Interpret Spanish and English conversations in real-time, both verbally and in writing, for clients across various industries Handle telephone calls and video conferencing sessions on demand, ensuring accurate and confidential communication Translate complex and technical information, including medical and technical terminology, into both Spanish and English Work independently from home, maintaining a quiet and dedicated workspace, and adhering to confidentiality and security protocols Utilize personal iPhone or Android phone, high-speed internet connection, and dry erase marker board for work-related electronic communication Develop and maintain expertise in various subject areas, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Travel & Hospitality, and government entities Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling Manual dexterity to type or write notes, and comfort with technology, including video conferencing tools High school diploma or equivalent required; education or work experience in teaching, translation, or a related field considered an asset Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in interpretation or translation, particularly in Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Travel & Hospitality, or government entities Knowledge of medical and technical terminology, and experience with specialized software and equipment Certification in interpretation or translation, such as ATA or NAJIT, considered an asset What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary of $15 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth Long-term contract with flexible scheduling, including full-time and part-time opportunities Comprehensive benefits package, including perks and options for benefits 3 weeks of paid training to ensure success in the role Work Environment and Culture: Remote work opportunity with the flexibility to work from home Supportive and dynamic team environment, with opportunities for collaboration and professional development Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
