Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) who is fluent in Spanish and English to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Bilingual RN, you will play a vital role in providing excellent care and support to our residents, while also serving as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities Provide advice and support to residents and their families, addressing their medical, emotional, and social needs. Monitor residents and administer medication and treatments, ensuring their safety and well-being. Document resident care services by charting in resident and department records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information. Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, promoting a safe and healthy environment. Resolve resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Assure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise. Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential, respecting their trust and dignity. Essential Qualifications Must hold a valid RN License, with current registration in the state of practice. Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Decent computer skills, with experience using electronic medical records and other healthcare software. Long-term care experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of older adults. Should be friendly and a team worker, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, with a strong academic record and a commitment to lifelong learning. Experience working with diverse populations, including older adults, individuals with disabilities, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of gerontology, with a strong understanding of the physical, emotional, and social needs of older adults. Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis. Leadership experience, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best.
