About the Role The Associate Instructional Designer plays a critical role in designing and developing training content, modules, courses, job aids, and reference materials that cater to the diverse needs of our audiences within the Help Desk and Field Operations organization. As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with Educational Planners to execute various learning content initiatives. Your expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and visual communication will be invaluable in creating high-quality educational materials. Key Responsibilities Content Development: Identify, curate, and gather data based on project needs, and create storyboards and develop error-free educational material in various formats. Test and evaluate expectations for quality assurance. Subject Matter Expertise: Liaise with internal and external subject matter experts to obtain required job and assignment information. eLearning Development: Familiarize yourself with standard eLearning development tools and software, such as Articulate Storyline and Moderator, Adobe Creative Cloud. Project Management: Proactively communicate project and milestone status to client groups and management. Quality Assurance: Review and edit material against accepted THD standards for quality. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Educational Plan, Adult Learning, Visual Communication, or a related field. Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and visual communication. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Formal learning degree or certification in Educational Plan, Adult Learning, Visual depiction, or equivalent work experience. Experience with photo editing software (Photoshop, GIMP, etc.). Experience utilizing SharePoint. Experience working with video creation software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
