As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.
**Key Responsibilities and Job Elements**
As an Area Manager at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences
* Managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure the highest levels of performance and customer satisfaction
* Collaborating with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
* Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching to perform tasks and duties
* Standing/walking for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
* Working in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
* Continuously climbing and descending stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful as an Area Manager at careerzynith, you will need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
