Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Red Bank, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience on your own schedule, working with students of various ages and backgrounds. Key Responsibilities Teach a variety of subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies, to students of different ages and skill levels Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, adapting to the needs of each classroom and student Manage classroom behavior, maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school administrators, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement curriculum, sharing best practices and expertise Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and technologies Essential Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits Three professional references, with at least one from a previous direct supervisor NJ Substitute Credential Background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
