About the Role We are seeking a motivated and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Beachwood, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and gain hands-on teaching experience on your own schedule. We offer competitive pay rates, with up to $190 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term assignments, as well as comprehensive support to help you excel in the classroom. Key Responsibilities Teach students in a variety of subjects, including math, science, English, and more Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and achievement Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced educational setting Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits Three professional references, with one from a previous direct supervisor A NJ Substitute Credential A background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
