About the Role We are seeking experienced and passionate part-time tutors to join our team in Newport Beach, California. As a tutor with Collegewise, you will have the opportunity to work with high school students and graduate students, instructing them in a variety of subjects, including ACT, SAT, ISEE/SSAT, Subject Tests, AP exams, IB subjects, academic subjects, and study skills. You will also have the chance to teach GRE and GMAT to graduate students. Key Responsibilities Instruct students privately at our offices or online via Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, or other platforms Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve Communicate effectively with parents and students to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned with the tutoring plan Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to share best practices and ensure a cohesive approach to tutoring Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have a four-year college degree and the ability to score in the required percentile for your chosen subjects.
