Your responsibilities will include: * Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback via phone, email, and chat * Resolving complex issues, rebooking flights, and issuing refunds * Providing accurate and timely information about flights, schedules, and travel requirements * Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences * Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date on airline policies and procedures **What You'll Do** * Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets * Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations * Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Perform traveler registration and front seat tasks (excluding curbside), amend oversold seat tasks, and issue updates * Issue vouchers and coordinate with vendors for traveler hotel facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and refresh * Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift as well as ticket lift/check * Operate gate readers/scanners and related tasks to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carryon items and departure gate models * Operate jetways/spans for purposes of boarding and deplaning travelers * Make boarding and departure gate announcements * Convey domestic/international flight reports * Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures * Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters * Maintain schedule of flight loading process * Perform customer service hands-on training * Process and complete credit card baggage exchanges at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Assist travelers with self-service kiosk registration and booth baggage handling at ticket counters * Man line lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clear/confirm international reports at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, as well as unaccompanied minors * Perform customer care work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any mandatory overtime requirements. * Answer and assist during security or potentially emergency situations * Provide interfacing travelers gate information * Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to American's rules. * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and execution guidelines. * Follow through with task necessary steps of preparation * Comply with unofficial laws (e.g. Speck, FAA, TSA) * Utilize various internal assets/frameworks including during customer interactions * Wear attire as required by company policy * Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualifying individuals with disabilities. * Depending on your airport size, you may also perform the following: * Perform Passenger Activity Control capabilities including air to ground communication along with Peak capabilities Help international passengers through customs/migration, including baggage reverify Convey tickets, international flight records and customs/migration forms **All You'll Need for Success** * Minimum Capabilities Education and Prior Professional training * High school diploma or GED or international equivalent * Bilingual language skills required in certain areas * Pertinent valid driver's license as required by local authorities * Should meet FAA criminal background investigations to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable * Should be able to obtain suitable airport power or potentially US Customs security identifications, if relevant * Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive personal investigation as well as fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements * Should be eligible to work in the U.S. * Preferred Capabilities Education and Prior Professional training * Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service System * Past face-to-face Customer Service experience * Working in a high-speed environment **What You'll Get** * Take advantage of all that arenaflex has to offer: * Travel Benefits: Ready to explore the world?
