About the Role: Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Line - RON) We're seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in our innovative Remote office. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Line - RON), you'll play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet. You'll work collaboratively with our Technical Operations and Ground Operations teams to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our Boeing 737 aircraft. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft, engines, and equipment Conduct checks, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Collaborate with other technicians and teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements Document maintenance activities and results accurately and thoroughly Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry developments and best practices Requirements: Essential Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably with a Boeing 737 fleet FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with aircraft maintenance management systems and software Familiarity with Southwest Airlines' maintenance procedures and policies Previous experience in a remote or distributed work environment Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines What We Offer: Competitive Compensation and Benefits: We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including: Competitive salary and bonuses Comprehensive health insurance Retirement savings plan Paid time off and holidays Career Growth and Development: At Southwest Airlines, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
