**Job Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Accounts Payable Manager at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
* Exhibiting a global understanding of accounting principles from transaction to general ledger reporting
* Maintaining, recording, reporting, and reconciling various accounts payable records for all divisions of the organization
* Endorsing daily AP transactions; invoices, wire transfers, ACH, and EFT
* Assessing systems, processes, and procedures; recording, suggesting, and leading the execution of changes for productivity gains
* Providing variance analysis to actual costs compared to budgets, forecasts, previous months, or previous year
* Developing departmental approaches/strategies and ensuring compliance with SPARC ownership group
* Assessing existing work process cycles and implementing upgrades to find efficiencies and enhance team yield
* Preparing and ensuring accuracy of journal entries, month-end, and year-end review plans
* Ensuring SOX compliance; documentation, processes, and requirements
* Being responsible for investigating, examining, and determining payment discrepancies with vendors
* Participating in the determination and execution of upgrades or new systems for accounts payable
* Recognizing, suggesting, and leading the execution of solutions for system-related issues
* Supporting other accounting capabilities as required
* Directing performance evaluations and providing leadership and training to the A/P team
* Selecting, retaining, inspiring, and developing a team to perform at a high level of effectiveness and precision

**Experience Required:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance
* 5+ years of experience in a leadership position within Accounting or Finance
* Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing team
* Strong framework and computer skills including Excel, general ledger, Infor Nexus, Infor Finance, and SAP
* Strong foundation in International payment methods
* Solid oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently in a high-volume, dynamic work environment
* Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks
* Retail accounting experience an asset
* Travel may be required, based on business needs
* Adhere to standard in-office presence, including participating in face-to-face team communication, meetings, and collaboration
* Perform other duties as assigned by manager as the organization reserves the right to change duties to this position
* Should have approval to work in the US
**Compensation and Benefits:**
The compensation range for this position is $35-45 per year, depending on a few variables including but not limited to position offered and work experience. In addition to your compensation, careerzynith offers an benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with company match after 500 hours if age 21 or older, overtime pay, flexible plan for working, paid sick leave, and a generous employee discount program (all benefits subject to qualification).
