PurposeAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality softwaresolutions that support our product and business goals. You’ll work as part of a cross-functional Scrum team,while also collaborating across teams and Solution Architects to ensure technical consistency and scalabledesign.Your responsibilities span the entire software development lifecycle—from understanding requirements anddesigning solutions to writing, reviewing, and deploying code. You’ll contribute to maintaining highstandards of code quality through regular code reviews, shared ownership, and close collaboration withyour peers.You will also play a key role in shaping the future of our products. Your technical expertise, problem-solvingskills, and commitment to excellence will help ensure we build the right solutions—effective, reliable, andaligned with our long-term vision.Key Responsibilities• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, and conduct thorough code reviews toensure high standards of quality, readability, and consistency across the codebase.• Apply an iterative development approach, refining solutions over time based on feedback andresults.• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply relevantinsights to promote technical excellence and innovation within the team.• Navigate uncertainty and ambiguity with a growth mindset—experimenting, adapting, and learningfrom challenges and outcomes.• Analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and propose practical and creativesolutions that deliver clear value to our users and business.• Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provide input on alternative approachesor technologies to ensure optimal outcomes.Experience & Skills• Have 8+ years of experience as a developer in general• Experience working on a monolithic solution• Have a solid foundation as a Java developer• Have experience with Spring Boot• Care about writing beautiful and well-structured, correct and testable code• Knowledge in DevOps using Docker, Terraform and Kubernetes is a plus• Work well with others and have an Agile mindset• Have good communication skills, including a strong command of the English language• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and in a collaborative team environment• Experience with Amazon Web Services and troubleshooting server-related issues in AWSenvironments• Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment• Pro-active and eager to learn both independently and from experienced colleaguesQualities we appreciate• Can-do attitude• Want to make a difference to our clients• Enjoy taking time to sit down and solve hard problems• Teamwork• Self-motivated• Well organized• Process-oriented but at the same time, flexible to circumstances• Adaptability• People Person: Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity• Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlinesWorking conditionsThis is a remote position with flexible working hours, allowing you to coordinate effectively with your teamwhile managing your own schedule.You’ll work in a collaborative, distributed environment where autonomy and proactive communication arekey.
