Job description: Position Summary:
Busy principal with high school-age children based on Manhattan's Upper East Side would like to hire an experienced and resourceful Executive Personal Assistant to join their long-term staff and provide administrative and personal support. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a fine home and be familiar with reading contracts and creating and maintaining organizational systems.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will include a variety of administrative functions, including organizing healthcare, legal and financial records, managing the principal's calendar, scheduling appointments, and drafting formal correspondence. This professional will also arrange sophisticated private travel plans, create itineraries, oversee vendors, and coordinate events and social gatherings.
Qualifications:
Necessary qualifications include strong tech skills (including proficiency with Apple/MAC devices, Outlook, able to troubleshoot household technology, etc.), excellent writing, communication and organizational skills, Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Local candidates preferred.
Schedule:
Generally a Monday through Friday schedule, with some flexibility needed for events, travel, etc.
Compensation:
Up to $180,000 per year offered, depending on experience and qualifications, with benefits.
