The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative officer of the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS). As independent schools navigate the myriad complexities of our ever-evolving educational landscape such as shifting demographics, financial sustainability and rapidly changing technology, the Executive Director will be a skilled strategist who will lead the board and staff in strategic and generative dialogues that provide a strong and purposeful direction for PAIS. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, advancing the organization's mission and representing member schools across the region. This visionary leader will conceive of new models of service and connection for member schools, anticipating their needs, and enhancing PAIS? value proposition.
Key responsibilities include overseeing accreditation, professional development, legal affairs, and membership engagement. The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Directors, school leaders, and stakeholders to strengthen the association's impact, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster a thriving independent school community.
