Executive Assistant/Board Liaison

Boutique virtual assistance agency looking for Virtual Executive Assistant/Board Liaison to serve female-identifying writers focused nonprofit organization located in Washington. You will perform various executive administrative tasks, including managing emails, scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements. A large part of this role will be working with a diverse board of directors with complicated schedules and very little time. A strong Internet connection is required, along with experience using communication tools like Zoom and bolthires Meet.Ultimately, you should be able to handle administrative projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision within given deadlines. An understanding of how to take board meeting minutes is required. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of EA experience. Project management experience. Non-profit experience. Responsibilities: β€’ Respond to emails and phone calls β€’ Schedule meetings β€’ Book travel and accommodations β€’ Manage a contact list β€’ Manage projects β€’ Prepare customer spreadsheets and keep online records β€’ Organize client's calendars β€’ Perform market research β€’ Create presentations, as assigned β€’ Proactively address clients concerns β€’ Provide customer service as first point of contact β€’ Take board minutes β€’ Attend leadership meetings with ED, take notes and send applicable action items Skills: β€’ Proven experience as an assistant working remotely or relevant role β€’ Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services and VoIP bolthires Suite β€’ Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g.bolthires Calendar, Calendly, etc) β€’ Excellent phone, email and instant messaging communication skills β€’ Excellent time management skills β€’ Top-notch organizational skills β€’ Passion for learning new/skills/platforms β€’ Ability to excel in an autonomous environment β€’ High school diploma required; additional qualifications as an Administrator or Executive Assistant are a plus β€’ Previous experiencing assisting C-Suite executive or Executive Director (nonprofit) Experience with boards and nonprofit clients/support critical for success in this position.Availability for occasional travel to Washington ideal (2-3x/year) Average of 30-35 hours/week - on call availability preferred β€’ 1099 contractor β€’ Hourly compensation: $22-$29/hour DOE β€’ Candidates with the ability to travel to Whidbey Island, WA 2-3 times/year HIGHLY PREFERRED β€’ If unable to travel to Washington, fully remote opportunities are available with other clients!
