Role Description

We are seeking an independent, dedicated Administrative Assistant to support a creative, energetic and accomplished author, speaker, and workshop leader. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative aspects of nonprofit charitable endeavors, task coordination and prioritization, project tracking and follow through, assisting with technology, and ensuring smooth communication and operations for the leader. This is a contract role for an Executive Administrative Assistant at a Non-Profit Organization. The position is primarily remote with occasional need to be in Lexington, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Scheduling:
• Assist with the scheduling of appointments.

Travel Arrangements:
• Coordinate travel plans, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
• Ensure all travel details are organized and communicated effectively.

Technology Support:
• Provide support with basic technology needs, including troubleshooting devices and software.
• Assist with setting up virtual meetings and online events.

Email Management:
• Read incoming emails and prioritize those that require attention.
• Occasionally draft responses and handle routine correspondence.

Bill Paying:
• Manage and process bill payments in a timely and accurate manner.

Social Media Management:
• Update and maintain established websites and social media platforms.
• Share inspiring content, event updates, and announcements as directed.

Qualifications:
• Previous administrative experience preferred.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms and basic technology.
• Organized,,and resourceful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Compassionate and respectful of Buddhist or general spiritual principles and practices.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.
